Prescription Drug Drop Box

The prescription drug drop box is part of a program designed to significantly reduce the prescription drugs in American homes that are either no longer needed or outdated. Citizens can dispose of their unused or expired medications. Proper disposal of medications not only reduces the likelihood of prescription drug abuse, it prevents environmental pollution by keeping medications from entering our drinking water and natural waterways. It also helps ensure that children and pets avoid overdoses and accidental poisoning. All medications collected will be properly disposed of by the Nassau Bay Police Department.
