Messages of Support

Kaila Marie strived to be one of the best police officers in her department and she touched the hearts of many people. She had a tender heart for helping people and she loved her fellow officers. Kaila Marie served her community with love and she sacrificed her life to help keep her community safe. She is missed and she will not be forgotten.

The tragic loss of Sergeant Kaila Sullivan one year ago illustrates that there is NO "routine" call for our Police Officers. A bright light in the City was extinguished too soon, a year, ago. Kaila served the City with distinction and always placed the interest of the residents first. We have lost Kaila's devotion to duty.

However, we know that her fellow Officers will honor Kaila by emulating her dedication to service. We want the Officers to know that we appreciate the daily risks that they take in performing their duties. We will never take them for granted.

— Roscoe and Tuie Lee

Words cannot adequately express how blessed we are to have had Sgt. Sullivan serve in Nassau Bay. Her spirit and commitment to giving her best to our city will not be forgotten. Our amazing PD goes above and beyond to serve & protect our citizens and keep us all safe. Their continued dedication to our safety and to growing the skills and talents of each officer is what makes Nassau Bay so special. To all our officers, please know how appreciated you are and how thankful we are for YOU!
