Details on How to Speak Before the Board of Adjustment: If you wish to speak before the Board of Adjustment please complete the following form: Public Request to Speak You will have a maximum of three (3) minutes to address the Board of Adjustment on any one topic. Members of the public who wish to submit their written comments on a listed agenda item must submit their comments by completing the Public Request Form or by emailing Building Secretary Kathy George at or by calling 281-336-6281 for staff assistance. Comments must be received before 1:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.

The Board of Adjustment has the power to hear and determine appeals from the refusal of building permits, appeals resulting from administrative decisions by City building inspectors, and to permit exceptions to or variations from the zoning regulations in cases or situations in accordance with the principles, conditions, and procedures specified in the zoning ordinance.
