  1. CCCT's Laughter on the 23rd Floor

February 23 - March 11 @ Clear Creek Community Theatre

Clear Creek Community Theatre continues its 53rd season with Neil Simon’s "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" opening on February 23rd. Inspired by the playwright’s youthful experience as a staff writer on Sid Caesar’s Your Show of Shows, this Neil Simon favorite depicts the harried writing staff as they frantically scramble to top each other with gags while competing for the attention of star madman Max Prince. Laughter on the 23rd Floor performances begin at CCCT on Friday February 23rd and continue through March 11th on Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 2:30PM. Tickets information is available online or call 281-335-5228 for reservations.

  2. Clear Creek Environmental Foundation’s Annual Clear Creek & Nassau Bay Peninsula Cleanup

    February 24, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ Nassau Peninsula

Clear Creek Environmental Foundation’s Annual Clear Creek and Nassau Bay Peninsula Cleanup will be held Saturday, February 24th. This cleanup is vital to keeping our waters and the peninsula a clean and safe place for people and wildlife. Each year, volunteers pick up tons of waste, including everything from plastic bottles and paper, to washing machines, and abandoned boats. No need to sign up in advance, just show up at the Nassau Bay peninsula entrance gate to clean the peninsula or at the League City boat ramp to clean up Clear Creek. All volunteers are greatly appreciated! Nassau Bay Peninsula – Meet at 8:30am at the peninsula gate. Trash bags and bottled water will be provided, but please bring your own gloves and wear appropriate clothing and shoes for possible wet and muddy conditions. If later works better, you can join volunteers as your schedule allows, grab a trash bag at the entrance, and strike out on your own.
