St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church in Nassau Bay will begin Holy Week on March 25, 2018 with a Palm Sunday Passion Narrative at 8:00am and 10:30am, and a parish breakfast at 9:15am. Stations of the Cross will occur Monday and Tuesday at 6:30pm and Wednesday will provide a Luminary Labyrinth from 6:00pm-7:30 pm. The Maunday Thursday service at 6:30pm will include a foot washing and stripping of the sanctuary.The Good Friday services will be at 12:00pm and 6:00pm. Morning Prayer at 9:00am will be on Holy Saturday. Finally, Holy Week culminates April 1, 2018 with an Easter Sunday candle-lit vigil during sunrise at 6:30am and regular services at 8:30am and 10:30am. An Easter Egg Hunt will happen at about 9:45am. Everyone is welcome at these activities and services to honor this very holy time of the year!

Want to know more about the ins and outs of city government? The City of Nassau Bay is offering a six-week program that will give residents a behind-the-scenes look of the City. What is Nassau Bay 101? Nassau Bay 101 provides a unique opportunity to get an up-close and in-depth look at the inner workings of their municipal government. It is designed to equip and encourage citizens to become more engaged and assume a leadership role within the community. Participants will meet City Staff and Elected Officials and learn all about each department of our City through facility tours and interactive sessions and demonstrations. Who Can Participate? This program is open to Nassau Bay residents and business owners. Participants must be registered voters and at least 18 years old. How Do I Apply? The Nassau Bay 101 application is available at City Hall
