Bryce D. Klug has been a resident of Nassau Bay since 2009. He and his wife, Ashleigh, have two children ages 2 and 5. Bryce is a Texas licensed CPA, as is Ashleigh, and works as an operational accountant for an oil and gas partnership.

Bryce graduated from the University of Michigan in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and earned his Masters in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University in 2004. Councilman Klug was appointed to Council Position 4 upon the position’s opening in November 2013 and was elected to Position 4 in May 2014.

In August 2012, Bryce was appointed to a directorship of the Nassau Bay Economic Development Corporation. In the fall of 2013, he was appointed to serve as Treasurer. Bryce is proud of the success of the redevelopment commercial district and will work to continually pursue other opportunities to redevelop the City of Nassau Bay.

In October 2015, Bryce was appointed as a Trustee for St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal School in Nassau Bay. As trustee, Bryce has assisted the Board in marketing, budget analysis, and executive review.

The key to a successful council is diversity in various fields and professions. Our current council consists of attorneys, engineers, educators, business executives, and a certified public accountant. Bryce is gratified to utilize his professional expertise to assist and advise council in fiscal, budgetary, and debt obligations matters.

Bryce has been a proponent of prudent governmental expenditures, with a keen eye toward a balanced budget. All the while advocating in favor of the capital investments necessary to keep Nassau Bay’s aging infrastructure in good repair to support redevelopment growth.

Nassau Bay’s strengths and unique charm are partially due to the city’s independent services. The citizens can boast of Nassau Bay’s quick response to fire, EMS and police services that are dedicated to serving Nassau Bay. Bryce has strongly favored keeping these services independent from multi-municipality districts.

Bryce continues to support redevelopment, which will provide the City with the necessary tax base to further improve services and physical infrastructure in a fiscally appropriate manner while continuing to make Nassau Bay an attractive city nestled within the greater Houston Area.
