Sealed Proposals, in duplicate, directed to the City Secretary of the City of Nassau Bay, Texas will be received at City Hall, 18100 Upper Bay Road, Nassau Bay, Texas, 77058 (P. O. Box 58448, Nassau Bay, Texas, 77258) until 10:00 a.m. local time on the 4th of December, 2007, to furnish all labor, materials and equipment and to perform all work for the construction of the following project: Lake Nassau Boardwalk The project primarily involves the construction of approximately 400 linear feet of 7’ wide boardwalk with concrete transitions to the existing roadway in Lake Nassau Park, located in City of Nassau Bay, Texas. Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid. It shall be each Bidder’s responsibility to inspect the site of work and to inform itself regarding all local conditions under which the work is to be done. It shall be understood and agreed that all such factors have been thoroughly investigated and considered in the preparation of the Bid submitted. The Plans, Specifications, Proposal Form and Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the City Secretary of the City of Nassau Bay, the offices of Claunch & Miller, Inc., 4635 Southwest Freeway, Suite 1000, Associated General Contractors, and F.W. Dodge. Upon consideration of the bids, the City plans to award the Contract; however the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all technicalities, and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to it. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid.
