Help
Fight Water Pollution
This is everyone's responsibility because we all contribute
to it. Please practice these conservation habits daily. Keep pet wastes,
leaves and debris out of gutters and storm drains. This also helps stop
street flooding. Apply lawn and garden chemicals sparingly, following
the directions. Control soil erosion with ground cover plantings in
erosion-prone areas. Thank you for your contribution to a clean future!
Swimming Pool Fences
By City Ordinance, a pool needs to have a minimum 4-foot fence height
with self-closing gates. The gate latches need to be at least 40 inches
above the ground. Unattended pools should have the gates locked, and
unattended spas should have covers that can prevent young children
from falling in.
