Bob has been a resident of Nassau Bay for 34 years. He and his wife Sue have two children and two grandchildren. Bob has a Bachelor degree from the US Naval Academy, a Masters Degree from MIT, and a Naval Engineer Degree from MIT. He is a retired Commander in the US Navy and a retired Vice President of Brown & Root.Civic Service
Bob’s twenty-three years of experience as Head of Civil Engineering and Construction Management, Marine Terminals, Environmental Engineering, and Architecture Departments at Brown and Root give him considerable insight to many of the infrastructure problems facing Nassau Bay. He is especially interested in flood control, water supply, and waste water systems. He serves on the Street Committee and the Infrastructure Committee and he previously served on the Board of Adjustment.Goals
Improve in the overall appearance of the esplanades and the old shopping center on Upper Bay. Work with the developer of Town Square to get a new City Hall building as a replacement for the one the City contributed to the development. Maintain the health of the City finances and start a replacement program for the water distribution system.
