Educational Opportunities
The educational facilities in Nassau Bay and the Clear Lake
area are excellent according to national academic standards.In addition,
the residents rank far above the national average in years of college
education.
Our local school district is one of the state's most distinguished

Public Schools
Nassau Bay is within the Clear Creek Independent School District
(CCISD) which ranks very high in Texas and national scores. You

More that 80% of CCISD's graduating seniors plan
to attend college, and in a recent school year 75% qualified as
National Merit Scholarship Finalists, Semi-finalists, and Commended
Students. Graduating seniors consistently score far above the
national average on the Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SAT).
Robinson Elementary. Nassau Bay's new
elementary school opened in
August for the 2006-2007 school year. Robinson Elementary
is located at 451 Kirby Drive in Seabrook,
Texas, near the intersection of NASA Parkway Blvd. and Kirby Drive.You can visit

Center Intermediate.
Nassau
Bay students in grades six, seven, and eight attend Space Center

Clear Creek High School. The majority of the city's high school students attend
Clear Creek High School. The school is located a short distance from Nassau Bay on
Main Street in League City, Texas. Grades 9-12 are included
in its curriculum. Its stated mission is to develop students

Higher
Education
|
The University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL), www.cl.uh.edu,
provides courses at the junior, senior, and graduate levels in
Business and Public Administration, Education, Human Sciences
and Humanities, and Natural and Applied Sciences. The 7200 student
university resides within a picturesque 524-acre natural environment
and is larger than 83% of the colleges and universities in the
country. UHCL offers over 30 different undergraduate degrees and
over 40 different master's degrees.

The Clear Lake area also provides four community colleges: Houston
Community College, College of the Mainland, San Jacinto College,
and Alvin Community College. Continuing education courses are
provided including night school and custom employee training programs.
