Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Nassau Bay Police Department is to enhance the quality of life by providing a safe and secure environment for the citizens. To work cooperatively with the public and within the framework of the U.S. Constitution to enforce the laws and preserve the peace. To endeavor and search for viable solutions to problems and issues that would otherwise deteriorate the public’s confidence in our ability along with the quality of life in Nassau Bay. To remain flexible and diversified in order to accommodate the needs of our community.

The Cities of League City, Webster and Nassau Bay sponsor a Police to Citizen (P2C) website. You can print copies of public police reports, view a daily bulletin of events, or view the community calendar along with many other items of interest.

Scammers Taking Advantage Of New Federal Economic Stimulus Package
Texans should be aware of a scam that has emerged in connection with the proposed federal economic stimulus package.
Several Texans recently filed complaints with the Office of the Attorney General after receiving unsolicited e-mails and telephone calls from purported IRS agents claiming that the taxpayers are eligible for “Bush refunds.”

Department Services
The Nassau Bay Police Department provides 24-hour, seven day a week police services and protection. In addition to regular law enforcement protection, the following services are also provided or available upon request
Fingerprinting
The Nassau Bay Police Department performs fingerprinting services as a public service. The cost for fingerprinting is $10.00 as allowed by law. Fingerprinting is performed only on the following days and hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m. -3 p.m. Fingerprinting is performed on a “first come, first serve” basis based on officer availability.
All persons wishing to have their fingerprints taken must have their own fingerprint cards. The cards must be properly and completely filled out prior to being fingerprinted. We do not perform fingerprinting for the following purposes: Proof of Residency, Immigration and Naturalization or Passports. In the interest of Homeland Security, a separate set of fingerprints and a color photograph may be taken. These documents will be placed on file with this agency. Payment of the $10.00 fee serves as your acknowledgement to collect and or store that data.
Vacation Watch Requests
The Nassau Bay Police Department provides a courtesy home watch while residents are away on vacations or other absences where their home will be vacant. If you are interested in receiving this service, you may fill out a request form by clicking on the following link that will take you to the City Forms page: Vacation Watch Request
Once we have received your request periodic physical security checks of your residence will be made by a uniformed police officer during your absence. Please follow the submission instructions on the City Forms page. Please remember to notify the Nassau Bay Police Department when you return to terminate this service. There is no charge for this service.
Rape Aggression Defense
The Nassau Bay Police Department is excited to announce that the RAD Program is now available to all women who are interested. RAD or "Rape Aggression Defense" offers women the opportunity to develop and enhance their options of self defense. We believe it is imperative that women become exposed to the danger and realization of sexualpredators. With the RAD Program, women gain the opportunity to become familiar with techniques that will aid them in the event of an attack.
We are very passionate about this program and believe that the mental, emotional and physical aspects learned will benefit each and every woman for a lifetime. Vehicle Identification Stickers
Vehicle windshield stickers that will identify you as a Nassau Bay resident are available at the police department. The sticker help identify you as a Nassau Bay resident in the event of a severe storm or other emergency that may require the restriction of traffic into the City. There is no charge for the sticker. Residents must complete an information form for each vehicle that a sticker is being requested. The stickers are available Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, excluding official city holidays.
Home Security Inspection
Nassau Bay home owners may request a home security inspection from the departments Crime Prevention Unit. This inspection is performed by a Nassau Bay Police Department certified crime prevention officer. A copy of the inspection will be left with the home owner for a possible insurance rate reduction. There is no charge for this service. Appointment scheduling is necessary.
