Boards & Commissions
Boards and commissions fulfill an important role in city government by evaluating issues which affect our community and making recommendations to the City Council for needed action. Although most boards and commissions are advisory in nature, a few are decision-making entities.

City Council
Nassau Bay City Council meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. City Council consists of the Mayor and six At-Large Members. Meeting agendas and minutes are available online.

City Budget
Each year the City of Nassau Bay provides a fiscally sound budget. The fiscal year begins October 1 and runs through September 30. The City of Nassau Bay is financially transparent municipal organization and ensures the integrity of the City's finances through strategic and accurate budget planning.

City Elections
Nassau Bay will hold elections for City Council, Charter Revisions and Bond Elections. A City Election must be ordered by the Nassau Bay City Council. Election information is available on the city's website.

City Master Plan
The comprehensive planning documents incorporates plans and results of the significant efforts of a number of City organizations, committees, and subcommittees including City Council, Economic Development Corporation, city staff and departments, and input from numerous citizens of Nassau Bay.

Meeting Agendas & Minutes
In accordance with Texas State Law, the City of Nassau Bay posts meeting agendas, minutes and public notices to their website at least 72 hours prior to a meeting. Meeting agendas, minutes and public notices are available for download.

Office of the City Secretary
The City Secretary's Office is primarily responsible for compiling and publishing the City Council agendas, attending each meeting of the City Council and maintaining a record of accurate minutes of the proceedings.

Open Records Request
The City of Nassau Bay operates as a governing body and information and records are subject to the Texas Public Information Act. t. The purpose of the Public Information Act is to maintain the people's control over the instruments they have created.

Taxes & Fees
