[ARCHIVED] City of Nassau Bay Receives Best and Brightest Award for 5th Consecutive Year

The City of Nassau Bay has been named a winner of the 2016 “Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®” by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) for the fifth consecutive year.

“It is an honor to be recognized as one of the best and brightest places to work for in the Houston area. We have a very talented workforce and we strive to maintain a positive and supportive work environment that keeps employees happy and fulfilled both professionally and personally,” said City Manager Jason Reynolds.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® competition identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment. An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories. They include compensation, benefits and employee solutions, employee enrichment, engagement and retention, employee education and development, recruitment, selection and orientation, employee achievement and recognition, communication and shared vision, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance, community initiatives, and strategic company performance.

This program helps to create meaningful change in companies that improve costs, operations, and efficiencies. Winning companies receive yearlong education, assessment tools, and interaction with fellow winners.

On April 18, 2016, the National Association for Business Resources will present the awards at the Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® Symposium and Awards Celebration.
