
Keep Nassau Bay Beautiful (KNBB) will host its first annual Fall Sweep for the City of Nassau Bay Parks on November 3rd, from 8:30am to 11:30am. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Pavilion in David Braun Park at 8:30am to sign up and receive instructions, maps, and equipment.
The planned activities include:
- Activities in Swan Lagoon Park will include trimming of tree and shrub branches over the walking path; raising the paver stones in the circle at Clippers Cove; and general trash pick-up.
- Activities in David Braun Park will include weeding three large concrete planters; painting the three planters; and general trash pick-up. Trash will also be picked up along the Berm Trail to the Peninsula, augmented by trash pick-up along the Clear Creek shoreline from the Peninsula Gate through David Braun Park by a kayak group.
- Activities in Howard Park will include staining the wooden gazebo; re-staining two wooden benches; removing dead crape myrtles; and general trash pick-up.
Volunteers will be asked to select an activity and join KNBB in sprucing up the City's parks!
