The City of Nassau Bay is sad to announce this year’s Fourth of July Fireworks has been canceled. Based on Governor Abbott’s latest order, cities around the area - including Nassau Bay - have made the hard decision to forgo a fireworks show in the interest of public safety.
We understand how much our Citizens look forward to this time-honored tradition. We hope you all understand the decision to cancel is based on more than the health risk of COVID-19, it also becomes a safety issue for the City with traffic, crowd control, and social responsibility.
We hope our community can still enjoy this great American holiday safely, responsibly, and most of all - proudly!
