Due to COVID-19 - the City of Nassau Bay’s Fourth of July Celebration & Fireworks has been canceled.
The City of Nassau Bay is sad to announce this year’s Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks has been canceled. Based on Governor Abbott’s latest order, cities around the area - including Nassau Bay - have made the hard decision to forgo a fireworks show in the interest of public safety.
The canceled activities include:
- Water Wars – Noon to 2:00pm
- First Responder Mini Parade – 6:00pm
- Fireworks – 9:00pm

We understand how much our Citizens look forward to these time-honored traditions. We hope you all understand the decision to cancel is based on more than the health risk of COVID-19, it also becomes a safety issue for the City with traffic, crowd control, and social responsibility.
Show Us Your American Spirit
We know the activities are canceled, but we still want you to show us your American spirit! Show us your Fourth of July spirit on Saturday -- let’s see who can decorate their yards with the best RED + WHITE + BLUE!

We hope our community can still enjoy this great American holiday safely, responsibly, and most of all - proudly!
