[ARCHIVED] July 4th Celebration – Possible Inclement Weather

Fourth of July Celebration – Possible Inclement Weather

Current weather forecasts for the Fourth of July weekend include the potential for rain on Sunday, July 4, the day of the City’s Fourth of July Celebration. In the event of inclement weather, the City of Nassau Bay’s Special Events Committee may make the determination to cancel the planned activities in David Braun Park. As well, the City may elect to cancel the parade scheduled for 6PM.

In the event of a full or partial cancellation, we will inform the public utilizing Facebook, NextDoor and the City’s website. We will also post an update to the Facebook event page for our Fourth of July celebration.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed for clear skies this weekend. We are looking forward to celebrating Independence Day with our community!
