Congratulations are in order! We received notification today from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) that the City of Nassau Bay has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its annual comprehensive financial report for fiscal year 2019-20.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
Congratulations to the entire Finance Department for the hard work and dedication necessary to attain this award, and to City administration and the City Council for their continuing leadership!
