UPDATE (Monday, 8:45AM): City of Nassau Bay IS NOT under a Boil Water Notice
Following a City of Houston Boil Water Notice, City of Nassau Bay staff has maintained direct communication with the Clear Lake Water Authority (CLWA). This morning, CLWA confirmed that the City of Nassau Bay is NOT under a Boil Water Notice.
According to Director of Public Works Paul Lopez, the City of Nassau Bay receives its water supply from CLWA via the City of Houston’s Southeast Water Purification Plant (SWPP), which did not lose power on Sunday, November 27.
The Cities of Webster and League City also receive their water supply from SWPP, and neither City is under a Boil Water Notice.
The City will remain in communication with CLWA as well as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and will provide any updates received.
