Work History
Sandra Ham was appointed City Secretary for the City of Nassau Bay in April 2017. The City Secretary is appointed by the City Council as recommended by the City Manager. Prior to Nassau Bay, Sandra worked in fund development for several Houston-area non-profits, focusing largely on institutional and governmental grant-writing.

Sandra received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Sam Houston State University, and in 2009 earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Houston, with a concentration in Leadership, Administration & Advocacy. Additionally, Sandra is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). 

Sandra is currently working on her Texas Registered Municipal Clerk (TRMC) designation through the University of North Texas – Texas Municipal Clerks Certification Program. In 2018, Sandra was honored by being placed on the Municipal Clerks Honor Roll.

Personal History
Newer to municipal service, Sandra is excited about the opportunity to serve the City of Nassau Bay, City Council, and residents. Sandra and her two children Conrad and Sloane currently reside in Seabrook, after previously living in League City for five years. Sandra is also an avid Astros fan.
